Update November 4, 2025
The Wheeler Addition is nearing completion, with tile and the majority of the interior finishes now installed. The remaining work includes grouting the tile, installing the final fixtures, and completing the last finish details throughout the new spaces.
With only final installations and touch-ups remaining, the project is entering its final stage before completion.
Update October 28, 2025
Interior finishes are underway on the Wheeler Addition, with tile installation and finish work progressing throughout the new spaces. As flooring, trim, fixtures, and other details come together, the addition is beginning to take on its final character.
Next, we’ll continue through the remaining finish work as the project moves closer to completion.
Update September 18, 2025
Exterior painting is complete on the Wheeler Addition, bringing the new construction and existing home together with a cohesive finished appearance. With the siding and exterior finishes now complete, attention continues to shift toward the interior as the project moves through drywall and into the finish stages.
Next, interior finishes will begin bringing the new spaces to life.
Update August 25, 2025
The Wheeler Addition has reached another major milestone, with exterior siding installed and the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins complete. Drywall installation is now beginning, closing in the walls and starting the transition from rough construction to finished living spaces.
Next, drywall will be finished and the project will move into interior paint, flooring, cabinetry, and finish carpentry.
Update August 19, 2025
The Wheeler Addition is now dried in, with the roof complete and house wrap installed across the new exterior walls. The new driveway has also been poured, bringing another major exterior element of the project together.
With the structure protected from the weather, the next phase will focus on exterior finishes and continued work inside the addition.
Update August 11, 2025
Framing is well underway on the Wheeler Addition, and the new structure is beginning to take shape alongside the existing home. Most of the existing house has received new roofing shingles, while our crew is working on sheathing the addition roof and tying the new roof structure into the home.
Next, we’ll continue working toward getting the addition fully dried in and ready for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing rough-ins.
Update August 6, 2025
Framing has begun on the Wheeler Addition, with the exterior walls standing and the roof trusses now set in place. The footprint established during the foundation phase is quickly becoming a recognizable part of the existing home as the new structure takes shape.
Next, framing will continue with roof sheathing and the remaining structural work as we move toward getting the addition dried in.
Update July 28, 2025
The foundation for the Wheeler Addition has been poured, establishing the footprint and structural base for the new space. With the concrete work complete, the next phase will be framing the floor system and exterior walls, when the addition will begin taking shape above the foundation.
Update July 20, 2025
Foundation preparation is complete on the Wheeler Addition, and everything is ready for concrete. The footings have been formed and reinforced, establishing the foundation for the new addition and preparing the project for the first concrete pour.
Once the foundation is placed, the addition will begin moving from site preparation into structural construction.
Update July 11, 2025
Construction on the Wheeler Addition is underway, beginning with site work and preparation for the new foundation. Layout and excavation are taking shape as we establish the footprint and elevations that will support the new addition.
This first phase sets the groundwork for the structure and the expansion of the existing home.
